The New Material Design and Application Award aims to connect the gap between the development of new materials and the design and application of new materials. This award poses a challenge to designers and companies to crack the code of the world of materials to win this award. NMDAA is looking for newly developed materials or designs for any industry, from interior design in the fashion field, to product design, automotive design and architectural design (no more than 2 years). The New Material Award will be dedicated to those who remain curious. These people not only strive to push the limits of material performance and material innovation, but also deal with the world’s existing problems in a pleasing, sustainable and traditional way.
All artists, designers, scientists, companies and brands who develop or use new materials can participate in the competition.
